1. Introduction

HIU Breakdown and Repairs Ltd. ("we", "our", "us") is committed to providing high-quality services to our customers. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the warranty coverage for services provided by us.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1. Labour Warranty:

Breakdown Visits:

  • For breakdown visits, we ensure to carry out a temporary fix, first-time fix, and/or diagnosis of the issue (sometimes further investigation is required).

Installations:

  • For part installations, we provide a warranty on the labour element of jobs performed by our technicians for a period of 30 days following the completion of work.

Conditions:

  • As we cannot guarantee that a recurring issue is not caused by external factors such as user tampering or site conditions, we reserve the right to return to the site at our discretion based on the likelihood of the recurring issue being the fault of our labour.

  • A call-out fee may be requested if the likely cause of an issue's recurrence is determined not to be our previous labour.

2.2. Parts Warranty:

  • All parts replaced during our service are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

  • In the event of a faulty part being installed, once confirmed, we will replace the part free of charge.

3. Warranty Terms and Conditions

3.1. Labour Warranty Exclusions:

  • The labour warranty does not cover issues arising from external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to user tampering, improper maintenance, or site conditions.

3.2. Parts Warranty Exclusions:

  • The parts warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, or external factors beyond our control.

  • We will only replace faulty parts free of charge if the issue is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing defect.

4. Warranty Claims

4.1. Labour Warranty Claims:

  • To make a warranty claim related to our labour services, please contact our customer service team.

  • We will assess the claim and determine if the issue is covered by our labour warranty.

4.2. Parts Warranty Claims:

  • To make a warranty claim related to parts installed by us, please contact our customer service team.

  • We will coordinate with the manufacturer to verify the warranty status of the part and arrange for a replacement if necessary.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this Warranty Policy is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and labour as outlined in this policy. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

6. Changes to Warranty Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website.
